GREEN FURNITURE

This project is intended to tell the audience about the world in the eyes of people with prosopagnosia(face blindness).

The devices force audience remembers and recognizes the face in the patients ’ way. Let the audience can intuitively experience the disease and understand the perceptions of those patients.

It also helps those who don't know their illness to recognize the problem, rather than blaming themselves for being different from others.

In the video, only the partial facial features are clear, looping on the background of the huge eye details. The out-of-focus and the clear collision on the same line of sight , the viewer is forced to enter this way of observation and thus cause a sense of anxiety. The slow-moving magnifying glass forces the viewer to keep focusing on the facial details of the painting again and again then they may lose connection with the overall face. Two plaster heads on the ground that are extremely close to each other, draw a very small face outside the original outline of their plaster head, condense the whole sheet into a size of five features, throwing a hypothesis to the audience, is it small enough? Like facial features whicH face blindness can identify it?
