Canifesto, a group of visual communication practitioners exploring ideas of collective distribution.

Historically, the manifesto has served as a way to publish a position and disseminate ideas in an impactful yet accessible form. Our group draws on this legacy to distil works from each member into nonsensical sentences that create a collective poem. The manifesto is the bridge between our current state and our starting points. It is the small intimate space in between. The gap that acknowledges loss in translation.

This manifesto has been written and disseminated between London and Beijing. It is a conversation between two cities, an exploration into the nature of intimate exchanges on a global scale. The manifesto may be written, but the conversation continues.
